Your document content stays on your device.
Letterhead Lab parses your PDF and builds your Word file directly in your browser. The PDF never reaches our servers.
What we collect
- The email address you provide at checkout (for receipts and support).
- Anonymous analytics about which pages you visited — not what you uploaded.
- For partner clients: optionally the email you give when downloading, if your provider requires it.
What we don’t collect
- The contents of your PDF or Word file. Not even temporarily. Not even hashed.
- Logs of which design firm or company a letterhead came from.
- Anything that would let us reconstruct your document later.
Where data lives
- Your browser: the PDF, the rendered preview, the Word file we generate. We have no access.
- Stripe: your email, name, and card details — same handling as any other Stripe checkout. Stripe’s privacy policy.
- Cloudflare D1 (our database): records that a payment happened, with the Stripe session id and email. Used to honor downloads if you come back.
- Resend: sends transactional email (receipts, magic-link logins for partners). Resend’s privacy policy.
Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies. Partner-account holders get a session cookie when they log in; it’s HttpOnly, Secure, and stays on this domain.
Refunds & deletion
Email hello@letterheadlab.com with the Stripe session id from your receipt and we’ll refund or delete the account record within two business days.
